State Farm® Insurance Agent Hunt Smith

"I sold my home back in March and needed to cancel my homeowners policy, I updated my mailing address way before selling my home since I was no longer living in GA but the refund check was apparently sent to my old home but I was unaware and could not get an accurate answer about where it was sent or what needed to be done to have it reissued and mailed back out. I sent multiple emails to barely get a response and when I did it would be no help at all. I had to ask for updates multiple times and finally ended up filing a complaint to State Farm directly and the customer service team reached out to me to discuss the issue I had, they said the check was sent to my old home and they would reissue it immediately. And then I get an email from State Farm a week later asking me about the first check and that apparently it was sent to my parents address which I never had on file with State Farm and my parents also never received it at their home so I requested a replacement through that email and it said I need to wait another 4-6weeks for it. Would not use this insurance agent again if I move back to GA and will never be using State Farm again period. I should have never swapped from USAA."
